Hello LEGO® and STEM Lovers!

The Great Adventure Lab (formerly Adventures with Robots) is an after-school science enrichment program that runs at more than a dozen schools in Montgomery County. We’ve taught more than 2,000 kids, ages 7-11, how to write their first robotics programs or video game programs (or both!). And we do it with SMALL class sizes.

The Great Adventure Lab wants to bring LEGO® robotics and other fun, educational science programs to more elementary school students at a younger age. Our goal is to make science, technology, engineering and mathematics irresistibly FUN for the next generation.

Took our Robo Challenge I class and want more? We pick up right where we left off with compound gearing and motion sensors! Get ready for some fun with a venus fly trap, bucking bronco, and lots of marbles.
How would you program your machine, and why? It’s up to you how to solve the problem.

Our instructors will be there to help you achieve success – presenting different problems each week or two. Tired of having no clue what your kids do in all those clubs? We’re different. A day or two after every class, your instructor will email a note explaining what the class learned in the previous session and what’s next. Sometimes we even include photos and videos!
